The Simulator is intended for training seafarers in celestial navigation in accordance with Section A-II/1, A-II/2 and B-II/1 p. 19 "Training in celestial navigation" of the new STCW Code edition.
Use of the simulator as e-learning means allows drilling celestial altitude measurements in real time mode, position-finding and heading indication system adjustment reckoning with the help of celestial instruments and aids.
