"Educational Systems and Technologies on the River and the Sea "STORM" was established in December 2005 in Moscow.

Company’s main activities are:

• Development of innovative technologies  for comprehensive training and manufacturing simulators for water transport specialists;
• Development of interactive distance technologies in education;
• Arrangement of training of specialists of water transport using our own solutions.

Simulators, assessment and training programs, developed by our Company, were installed in approximately one hundred maritime educational institutions, shipping companies, Port Authorities and water transport enterprises of the Russian Federation and abroad.

All our simulators and software products are designed in accordance with national and international requirements (SOLAS, STCW). Most of our products are approved by Maritime Administration.

More than 25 regional partners all over the Russia use the "Storm-M" Technology for distance and face-to-face  learning of small craft navigators.

Our company is the member of «International Yacht Training» Association since 2008.

STORM is the founder and member of STORM Sail & Powerboat Training Centers Association. www.sptca.org

Member certificate

STORM Association connects small craft training centers  which use “STORM-M” Technology.
The main aim of STORM Association is receiving of international recognition of our training system and national certification of small craft navigators.

STORM is also the founder of licenced Non-State Educational Institution STORM Training Center.

Licence

On labor contract are more than 150 specialists who are personnel of maritime and river educational institutions, Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM).

We are regular participants of conferences, simulator forums, exhibitions.

For example in the last 2 years our company was the member of:

• 13th International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “INTERPOLITEX” in Moscow, October 27-30, 2009
• Second Russian Simulator forum in Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy in Saint-Petersburg, November 24-25, 2009
• VII International Exhibition “SportShow” in Moscow, March 10-12, 2010 
• 3rd “The Integrated Safety and Security” Exhibition 2010 in Moscow, May 18-21, 2010
